About SajuSis
Who runs this site, how the charts are calculated, and what we do and do not claim.
Who runs this
SajuSis is an independent site built and maintained by a single developer based in South Korea. It is not affiliated with any fortune-telling business, temple, or agency. The site exists because Saju — Korean Four Pillars — is usually explained either as mysticism or not at all, and a calculation this specific deserves to be shown openly rather than delivered as a verdict.
How the charts are calculated
Every reading on this site comes from our own Four Pillars engine, written from the classical rules rather than copied from an existing service. It converts your birth date and time to true solar time for the birth location, derives the four pillars from the sexagenary cycle, then computes Day Master strength, the five-element distribution, the Ten Gods, and the shensha markers. The same engine produces the free reading, the blog analyses, and the compatibility scores — there is no separate hand-written copy behind the scenes.
Why true solar time matters
Korea uses a standard time zone based on 135°E, but Seoul sits near 127°E. That gap shifts the real position of the sun by roughly half an hour, which is enough to move the hour pillar to a different branch entirely. Services that skip this correction will hand you a different chart from ours for the same birth details. We apply the correction and show you the adjusted time we used.
What we do not claim
Saju is a descriptive vocabulary, not a forecast. Nothing on this site predicts events, health, death, wealth, or the outcome of a relationship, and no reading here should be used to make a medical, legal, or financial decision. Where a birth time is unknown we compute three pillars instead of four and say so on the page rather than inventing an hour. Everything published here is for entertainment and editorial purposes.
About the public-figure articles
Some blog articles run the engine on the publicly reported birth dates of well-known people. These are method demonstrations: they show what the calculation returns for a chart readers can check themselves, and they note where the reading fits the public record and where it does not. They use no photographs, make no claims about private life, and cover only people whose birth date is already public and cross-checked across sources. Anyone who wants their article removed can write to us and it will be taken down.
