What a daily reading actually is
Every day carries its own pillar — a stem and a branch from the same sixty-term cycle that produced your birth chart. In Korean this is called 日辰 (iljin). A daily reading is not a forecast of the day; it is a comparison. The engine takes the day's two characters and reads them against your Day Master: whether the day's element feeds yours, drains it, controls it, or matches it.
That comparison is why the same day reads differently for two people. A day heavy in metal presses on a wood Day Master and supports a water one — same day, opposite texture. Nothing about the day itself is good or bad; the reading only describes a relationship between two sets of characters.
This page needs a saved chart to work, because there is nothing to compare against otherwise. Your birth details stay in your browser — enter them once on the reading page and the daily comparison runs locally from then on.
What it does not do
It does not predict events, luck, money, health or anyone’s behaviour, and it should never be used to make a medical, legal or financial decision. Saju is a descriptive vocabulary for tendencies, and a daily pillar is the smallest unit of it. Read it the way you would read a weather note about the terrain, not an instruction about where to go.
